Besides her nose which I think is too thin for her face, Mercedes was a welcome addition to the list of finalists at Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2009. She represented Estado de Mexico and did a great job but failed to win the crown unlike her lookalike Rosa Maria Ojeda who won the crown two years ago.
